Fall Engagement Photos at Pinehall | Michael & Kylee

We CLEARLY had the best time ever shooting their engagement photos at Pinehall in October ! Should you wear a hat for your engagement photos? Yes. Especially if it’s a hat with this much personality. Should you carry a bottle of champagne out to a field at sunset? YES. Be fearlessly happy and in love. Love hard. Dance and laugh and celebrate the things that make life beautiful no matter how big or small. And TAKE PICTURES! Pinehall is an outstanding location for photos! Not only can you host your wedding there, but you can also use the extensive property for your engagement photo shoot! With Kylee and Michael we walked the grounds enjoying acres of fall color, the dock at the lake, and sunset through the red leaves of the big maple tree by the barn. Succop Conservancy Engagement Photos | Emily & Shawn

Should you bring your dog to your engagement session? YES! One hundred percent YES all the time! Dogs are a part of our families it just feels right to include them in these important moments! Emily and Shawn were in town for the week and brought their brand new puppy, Franklin with them to their engagement photos at Succop Conservancy. The Conservancy has a beautiful property near the Butler County Airport with forest, fields, two ponds, and numerous buildings and backdrops that make it a great location for photos. They also host weddings and other events in their pavilion! Franklin was an absolute puppy angel for their session, just glad to be included and on a little adventure with his people. Pumpkin patch engagement session – Cindy + Zack

I’ve waited two years to post these photos and the time has finally arrived !! In October of 2015, we shot Cindy and Zack’s session at Shenot Farm in Wexford, PA. Cindy and Zack have visited Shenot every year as a family tradition for the fall festival. The farm has cornfields, a barn, an orchard, huge fields and holds a lot of sentimental memories for them. It was the perfect place to capture their pumpkin patch engagement photos! We had a gorgeous warm fall evening, and history repeated itself last night for their wedding at Lingrow Farm. (I can’t wait to share photos from their big day in the future!) I can’t believe it’s finally here!! Happy wedding week to Kelly and Ben! They are getting hitched in just four days! We had the perfect weather when we met up this past November for some fall sunset engagement photos. I knew just where to go to find the best leaves! Things to know about this awesome power couple, Kelly is a dog mom to an adorable morkie named Harley, she has a great laugh that makes other people want to laugh too, she’s a girl boss, and she ain’t afraid to hustle to get the job done. Ben is the perfect partner for her. He is definitely the strong silent type and can make Kelly smile just by looking at her. Fall Mini Sessions ! | Northmoreland Park

It’s been six years, but this October I’m happy to announce fall mini sessions! So what’s the difference between mini sessions and a regular session? Regular sessions are booked on the date and time and at the location of your choice, while mini sessions are at a single location and you choose from available time slots. Regular sessions are one to two hours in length, mini sessions are just 30 mins! This means there will be just enough time to get some great shots, but no extra time for things like changing outfits, etc. Contact us to book your spot today! Oakmont Engagement Photos | Carrie + Jimmy

Carrie and Jimmy are getting married this coming weekend and last fall we met up at Dark Hollow Park in Oakmont, their favorite spot to walk their five (yes 5!) bulldogs. I loved their story from our first meeting when Carrie pulled out her phone to show me photos of Jimmy popping the question with a puppy proposal at the airport! He told her that they were going to pittsburgh international to meet some friends who were flying in for the weekend, but in reality Jimmy had secretly purchased a very special puppy from out of state and it was arriving by plane that evening. While they waited outside the arrival area, (Jimmy had a friend stationed inside the airport lounge with a camera at the ready) a man walked up to Carrie and said this is for you [from Jimmy] and handed her a beautiful little ball of fur…

Laurel Highlands Engagement | Kristie + Chuck

When Kristie and Chuck told me their proposal story, it was clear there was a special place we needed to go for their engagement session. Kristie has so many happy memories with her father from Deer Valley YMCA camp. They spent many weekends there for Daddy-daughter camp when Kristie was a little girl. She and her father would go out on the lake, hike to the spring, and climb up the mountain to the big overlook. Sadly, Kristie’s Dad passed away when she was fifteen and they weren’t able to continue making such beautiful memories. Fast forward many years, Kristie had met a great guy named Chuck at Hofbrauhaus while she was out with some friends and they had been dating for over a year. Chuck knew that he wanted to ask Kristie to marry him but he wouldn’t be able to ask her father for his blessing first, so…

Schenley Park Engagement Session | Becky & Matt

Two great people are getting married this week and they are sporting possibly the greatest wedding hashtag I’ve ever seen! Meet the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Matt Slippy who rolled onto facebook this week with their social media moniker #Slippywhenwed – BOOM! Not only is it fabulous, but it’s Pittsburgh fabulous because when it’s icy out – other cities become slipp-er-y but here in Pittsburgh – roads and sidewalks get “slippy”. When you find the one, you just know. I didn’t believe it till I met my own husband, but I can tell you that if you aren’t sure – then you haven’t met the one yet. Justine and Chris met just a few years ago and the first thing she noticed about him was that he smiled all time. A fortune cookie from one of their first dates of take out Chinese forecast the future. It read, “stop searching forever, happiness is right beside you.” For their fall engagement photos, Chris and Justine invited me to Chris’ family home near Portage, PA. We explored acres of woods and fields, visited Wilmore Dam for photos by the water, and ended at sunset on top of the hill underneath the tree where Chris proposed. Sometimes the road to love is long, even for the best people, and Keely and Todd are two of the best. They are always willing to help out a friend and value family above all else.
